

Dr. Trover attended Tulane University for his undergraduate degree. He attended medical school at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He did a rotating Internship at the Barberton Citizens Hospital in Barberton, OH, continued his residency training at the University of Louisiana Hospital at Shreveport, and completed his training in residency at the University of Louisville Affiliated Hospitals in Louisville, KY.
He began practicing medicine in 1982, joining the Trover Clinic. At the clinic, he was an instructor in Pediatrics for the Family Practice Residency program. He relocated his practice to Covington, GA in 1996.
He is currently the medical director of the Reach Out and Read program sponsored by the Newton Medical Center Auxilliary. He has served as the Chief of Medicine at Newton Medical Center.
